it can be intense, especially when working on tight areas or trigger points. however, it shouldn't be unbearable. your lightwork therapist will communicate with you to ensure the pressure is appropriate and effective, not injurious. 'good pain' is often described.
wear comfortable clothing. depending on the areas being treated, you may be asked to undress to your level of comfort. you will be appropriately draped with towels throughout the session, ensuring only the area being worked on is exposed.
this depends on your activity level, goals and any existing issues. athletes in training might benefit weekly or bi-weekly. for general maintenance or addressing specific problems, every 2-4 weeks might be suitable. your therapist can advise based on your needs.
